Well, like the title says I am feeling a little left out, so I have joined the blogging phenomenon. I called my good friend Emily who has been blogging for years to help me with my title. The first thing she said was that it has to have something with type A in it. I don't know what she was trying to imply.
Here is a definition of "Type A" I found: Type A personality, also known as the Type A Behavior Pattern, is a set of characteristics that includes being impatient, excessively time-conscious, insecure about one's status, highly competitive, hostile and aggressive, and incapable of relaxation. Type A individuals are often highly achieving workaholics who multi-task, drive themselves with deadlines, and are unhappy about the smallest of delays. Although they may exhibit some or all of these characteristics, it does not mean that people with the type A personality are incapable of showing love, affection or other types non-pessimistic behavior. Many are also capable of "couching" some of these behavior attributes with proper treatment and medication.
O.K. O.K. this definition fits me perfectly, but I am now wondering if "proper treatment" could be construed as shopping and "medication" as Diet Coke.

I can't express the joy of another friend in the blogosphere...welcome to the world of the computer geeks. I was laughing so hard at the definition...I love you!! Your personality is endearing and loving and I know if I stick by you I will never be unprepared (you do the prep, my prep is being near you.) Thanks for doing the legwork. Hooray and welcome!!
Somehow Emmily gets everyone to "do it"! Welcome to the blogosphere!
I am so anxious to meet you, mysterious gal-pal of my sister. After reading that definition, I am only slightly intimidated...actually, a lot of that [crazy OCD stuff] could apply to me, and I thought I was the antithesis of type A. Look at that--I'm already learning stuff, just like Emily promised I would!
I'm Em's mom and have always felt that I was mostly a type A personality who is only slightly under control. I like you already! Welcome to the blogging world.
Hi Laurie, welcome! That's a nice lookin rock on your finger. Now, let's see if you can get Mike to share his personal musings on life with the world.
Laurie, I was wondering how long it would take Emily to get you on here. I'm Susan, the one you ate dinner with once and ran into at the book signing. I can't wait to get to know you better through your blog. By the way, my perfered method of medication is chocolate.
Welcome to blogland!
I consider myself a reformed Type A. See, I can sit here in my jammies, and type when I should be doing the breakfast dishes or showering...and get on my way to storytime at the library...
OH darn it! Now I MUST go do those things. Maybe not as reformed as I'd like to think.
How nice to meet you... though I wonder if this blogging thing could be called meeting. I'm Clark's sister, and have only heard fantastic things about you. Beware: I have only been blogging for a few weeks and I'm totally addicted. Welcome!
Hey Laurie! I'm so excited that you've entered the blogging world! I've only been doing it for a few weeks, and I'm totally hooked on it, so beware!! It'll be fun to 'keep in touch' a bit better through your blogs! I miss ya girl! y the way, I LOVE that picture of Emma that you have on here. What a crack up!
Thanks for the warm welcome!
